June 21, 2024 – Dubai UAE – Western Furniture is thrilled to announce the launch of the Favola sofa, a revolutionary modular system designed by the renowned Stefano Spessotto for Calligaris. The Favola sofa redefines versatility and style, drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese futon to create a seating solution that is both innovative and elegant.
The Favola sofa features a unique movable backrest mechanism that acts as a support element for the seating surface. This ingenious design allows the backrest to be placed in two distinct positions, providing unparalleled flexibility and comfort. Perfectly suited for modern living spaces, Favola’s design ensures it fits seamlessly even in narrow and compact homes.
Characterized by its mid-century style wooden legs and original module designs, the Favola sofa offers the ability to create unique compositions that optimize space without compromising on aesthetics. The modular nature of Favola allows homeowners to customize their seating arrangement, making it a perfect fit for any living area.
“We love a modular sofa for its versatility, and this one in particular has a streamlined design that draws inspiration from the Japanese futon,” said Gayatri Dongre, Chief Operating Officer at Western Furniture, Natuzzi – UAE. “The mid-century style Favola features moveable backrests and unique modules which make it suitable even in narrow spaces and small homes.”
With its combination of functionality and sophisticated design, the Favola sofa is set to become a staple in contemporary interiors. It exemplifies Calligaris’ commitment to crafting furniture that marries form and function, catering to the needs of modern lifestyles while maintaining a timeless appeal.
The Favola sofa was exhibited at the Salone Del Mobile 2024, where it received acclaim for its innovative design and adaptability.
The Favola sofa by Calligaris is now available at Western Furniture stores in UAE and Calligaris at Dubai Hills Mall.
